A LIQUID boundary – North Holland is surrounded on all sides by water. This characteristic can be traced down to the site itself. The Marine Terrein, originaly an enclosed naval dock, derives the concept.
On an urban scale the semi-closed blocks appear to be repeated, however on ground level, the units allow for maximum accessiblity and sunlight.
